I’m an ordinary, relatively mature human who is trying to represent the “common folk” and I intend to do so with integrity, compassion, and perseverance.  I’ve worked over thirty years in health care management at many levels and in a variety of organizations.  Currently, I am self-employed, primarily helping physicians work through the maze and waste we’ve created by the name of “Managed Care,”  a major component of our health care “Non-System.”  My passion is to work for justice in the areas I’ve defined in this web log, so that we might achieve true freedom and democracy.  I know that that the world we’ve made up is very complex and that peace really is not possible; however I believe that by rational dialogue and negotiation, we can reach some level of global awareness that we are all connected and dependent on one another. 

And, by the way, I’ve changed my political party affiliation to “None” to be more independent and because I don’t want to get caught up in the “labels” given to members of the major parties, e.g. “liberal,”  “conservative,” “left,” “ultra-right,”  etc.
